UNOC seeks a seasoned professional to lead crude oil marketing and supply operations as Uganda transitions to first oil production.
Uganda National Oil Company (UNOC) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of Crude Oil Marketing and Supply. This is a senior leadership role that will be central to Uganda's transition to first oil production and the commercialisation of the country's petroleum resources.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing crude oil marketing strategies, managing offtake agreements, and overseeing the supply chain from upstream production to international markets. The role requires deep expertise in global crude oil markets, pricing mechanisms, and trading operations.
Key responsibilities include leading negotiations with international oil traders and refineries, establishing pricing benchmarks for Ugandan crude, managing logistics and shipping arrangements, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in crude oil marketing, trading, or supply chain management within the oil and gas industry is required.
